There is an excellent Crocodile exhibit neat the entrance of the zoo. Kids can get up close and personal with a huge Crocodile!

Sumatran tigers are only found on the Indonesian island of Sumatra. They are the smallest of the six remaining sub-species of tigers, and it is estimated there are only 300 - 400 left in the wild.

Long-necked, long-legged and spotted, giraffes easily hold the record for the tallest animal in the world. Giraffes travel in herds of 4 to 30 individuals. Females are called cows and males are called bulls.

Lions are the only cats to live in groups. These groups are called prides and are social groups made up of 3 to 30 lions. The females in the pride are all related. They will hunt for the entire group and raise their cubs together as a pride.
